This was an awesome place to visit for the day. I hiked up to the High Dune. It took about 3 hours round trip (up and down). Once you get to the top of one dune there's another one that's higher. It was a difficult hike, but well worth it. Do NOT go in the middle of the day in summer. I went in the morning around 9am on a nice cool day, but some people recommended to go earlier than that.
