Their website is very useful, provides a lot of good info. I am pleased with their products, but I did have one experience that left a very bad taste in my mouth regarding customer service. I purchased a Tormado boat thingy. When I went to launch it, I accidentally plugged it in backwards and it fried all the works. I called them and asked what I needed to do to get it repaired and asked what cost I should expect. She told me to mail it all back, and the cost would be around $40 (plus shipping of course). She gave no "conditional statements." I had thrown away box and had difficulty finding one to fit. So I put it "on the back burner" and it was several more months before I got back around to it. When they received it, they said it WOULD HAVE BEEN $40 but I was passed the warranty period. I had never even set the boat in the water !! It ended up costing me around $300+, not much less than a brand new one. I made a good argument with management, but to no avail. PS -- You will notice that the new models have a plug-in where it is impossible to connect it backwards, so I'm assuming I wasn't the only one who made that mistake or complained about it. Bottom line... I do not tell my friends about them as a recommendation, and I would not patronize them if I knew of anyone else to use.
