Today I received a bill from this place for $240, for a visit that I never scheduled. I was seen here a few times. All times, my insurance covered my appointments. Last month I was left a voice message about an appointment. Which they took upon themselves to schedule. After I had already cancelled a previous appointment. And I stated that I would make an appointment on an as needed basis. Seeing that I was told that my condition wasn't that serious. There was no need for me to continue to be seen here.

I heard this voice message days after the appointment, due to being very ill. Which is besides the point. Since I never made this appointment, and did not give permission for to be made for me on their behalf.

However they chose to take it upon themselves to make an appointment for me without my consent. And now are charging me $240.14. None of which I will pay. The pure dishonesty of it all.

This place is a total rip off. They are scamming insurance companies like Medicare and Medicaid, with appointments, that patients DO NOT make, over testing, and anything else to get money from insurance companies and patients.

I knew it was a scam from the first few visits. Which is why I NEVER made any new appointments and I clearly stated that I will not be returning, unless my PCP stated that it was absolutely necessary.

Tomorrow I plan on calling them. I'm sure they're going to try to explain to me how I of course owe $240.14 for a appointment that I DID NOT schedule.

Why would I schedule a follow-up visit when I don't have a sleep condition? And why would they schedule one, unless they are just trying to bill insurance companies for unnecessary consultations?

No different than an auto mechanic taking out your engine, when there was nothing wrong with it from the beginning, then telling you to pay for it.

Just to end this, these folks absolutely DO NOT have good intentions for patients, DON'T TRUST THEM..... YOU'VE ALL BEEN NOTIFIED!

After I call, if they don't understand that this bill is null and void, I will be contacting whomever I need to, to make sure that they are fully investigated, for wrongfully billing patients and any other thing that they may possibly be doing illegally.
