We bought brand new VW Tiguan 2018 from them, did 2 oil changes on time and for 3rd one ticket was for January 2020/ 2100KM. But our vehicle started showing service Alert sign in October 2019 at 18000. My husband phoned them to see if they can fix it before oil change because we wouldn t expect real issue on new vehicle under 20000KM. Lady from service told my husband that it will cost us 400$ and then we can come back in January for oil change which is 200$. It sounded stupid.
Then we checked with Northside VW, they said another dealership just didn t set up in system after last oil service, you can come anytime. We went there in 1 hour on Saturday and they just did it in 2 mints without a $. We live in ellerslie 15 mints from south side VE but went to north-side for south side VW mistake. It is really annoying that dealerships just try to make money without even checking.
