My twins daughters and I were in Clearwater on bereavement leave after losing their dad and my husband. We stayed at Shepard s Live Entertainment Resort for the first time. I booked a harbor/gulf view balcony room, that was very affordable and nice. We were a little concerned with the loud music at first, not knowing that bar time is 3am in Florida. But the bands they chose were great and very entertaining. It wasn t until our 3rd day that the people in the room next to us had multiple teenage boys staying there. The door slamming, loud noises and the volley ball bouncing off the wall and in the hallways was extremely disruptive, disturbing and rude. I asked the parents many times to keep their boys in line, but they did not honor my request. My girls and I were very tired, exhausted and upset about our stay . I went to speak with the manager not sure if they could do anything. HOLY COW!!! WHAT SERVICE!!! They put us in a new room and upgraded it for us at no charge! I cannot express how grateful I am to this Hotel and their staff to take the extra step to make sure we were comfortable, happy and rested. They really helped us and I never expected for such wonderful service.
