This was astonishingly one of the filthiest rooms I have ever stayed in. In the three days that I stayed here, the bed linens were only replaced on the first night. The bedsheets, in fact, were threadbare and yellowed and smelled like dried-on sweat. I found bluish mold around the bathroom sink faucet and along the edges of the windows, and I hesitated even to use the coffee machine because it appeared not to have been washed in years. The numerous dusty artificial plants around the living room and dining table made me sneeze constantly. The worst part of my experience was having to run the shower at least 10 minutes early every morning to get a little bit of warm water.

As for the front desk staff, nearly all of them were rude, arrogant and unhelpful. One of them talked down to me when I merely requested a bottle of water. I was also disturbed that they chatted nonstop with each other while checking guests in or out.

For $250 a night, I expected a far cleaner room and polite, professional staff. I am never returning to this hotel when I visit Princeton again.
