My experiences with getting repairs done on my veh...

My experiences with getting repairs done on my vehicles have led me to dread the process. I recently had an emission control warning light come on in my 2017 Honda CR-V, and, because it was out of warranty, I took it to a local auto shop I have been to for tires, batteries, etc. I was charged $54 to only be told the computer "pulled a bunch of codes" and they did not know what was the problem. They said I should go to a Honda repair shop, but it would not cause a problem to drive the car.
A couple of weeks later, all of the warning lights started cycling through, including the emission control warning light. Having had unhappy experiences with the dealer from whom I purchased the car, I decided to take it to the Honda dealer closest to where I live--Crown Honda of Southpoint. The call center person was friendly and accommodating, and I made an appointment for the next business day.
Still dreading the possibility of getting overcharged for little or no help, I took my car into Crown. Joe DeFrancesco was the service agent who checked me in. He was knowledgeable, patient, professional, and friendly. He said he would call me as soon as they diagnosed the problem.
A couple of hours later Joe called to say they had determined the problem was that several of the fuel injectors were bad and needed to be replaced. He said the repair would be about $1400. However, he had talked with his manager about my car since it was only three years old and had only 45,000 miles on it. They called Honda, and Honda agreed to pay for 95% of the repair cost. Joe said it would cost me about $70.
When I went to pick up my car, the total cost to me was $57. They had replaced all four fuel injectors (not just the bad three) as well as the fuel joint pipe. The problem was diagnosed and the repairs made in five hours.
I told Joe what I am, by this post, telling anyone who is interested: THIS IS EXTRAORDINARY SERVICE! Joe responded by saying that it was the right thing to do and they were happy to help me.
I am very grateful to Joe and to Crown and heartily give them my highest recommendation.
