I've been with this insurance company for years no...

I've been with this insurance company for years now and now I'm looking for a new company.

Labour day weekend I has my roof replaced. The roofer tore my shingles off and left my roof exposed for the weekend. So it rained heavily in my house. My house was soaked.

Naturally I call my insurance company. It took a month of back and forth. They really didn't care that my kids were sleeping on the couch because their beds were ruined. They didn't offer to get fans and dehumidifiers to dry our my house. My floors were soaked and yucky they didn't care. They didn't want to know if the rain seeped into the main floor of the house.

During this month my husband was working under his truck and it crushed him. Killing him.

His accident was covered under auto insurance. So in a month I had 2 claims. One for auto and one for house.

Now I have been told my house insurance is being canceled because of a lame excuse. I have a brand new roof and very strong walls and bones in my house. They said I can keep my auto insurance but really who has their insurance at 2 different places?

They canceled my house insurance so I'll take my auto insurance to a new company because they paid me out for 2 claims and it's alot of money to them. I'm not dumb.

To do this to someone who had to deal with major renovations to her house at the same time my husband died suddenly. My kids are a mess and I'm a mess. This is really terrible to do.
