Unnecessarily long PhD duration, narrow minded Principle investigators with beaurocratic mindset, poor administration, no supervision for foreign students and often discrimination is experienced here. Petty things of students are taken very personally here and that often becomes miserable for students. Lot of ego issues of professors (sometimes local staff) and this ego often predominantes their professional judgement. No real system to deal with its problems..
