The theater is rather small, which contributes to a quaint family feeling and ambiance. There is a concessions stand with snacks and soft drinks.

Went to see step son in The Adam's Family. Nice venue. Clean and organized. Very nice place in downtown Georgetown, Texas.
Small theater which I prefer and enjoyable shows. Located off the main square in Georgetown. Lots of cute shops and restaurants. Makes a great afternoon.
Older theatre but so nice inside. Really enjoyed ourselves the two times we've visited.
Wonderful children's camps, shows and incredibly astounded and in love with their inclusion program. It's something to be proud of. Specifically, Palace, you should be proud that you offer free or affordable programming. Parents of kids with ANY special needs, see a lot of bills associated with it. Medication, therapy, counseling etc... This may not be for every child, but that's ok, it's amazing to have choices and not have to say no because of cost! My child can have the much needed additional social experience without having to weigh the cost factor.
Quaint old style theater, I sat on the front row with a great view, but it looks like even balcony seats have a great view. The lobby is small, but does have a small concession. I did not have to use the facilities, so cannot speak about them. I am definitely getting a season pass to see all the great shows that they out on. My friend was in "The Buddy Holly Story ", and it was the first show I've seen at the theater. Not gonna be the last.
Loved Christmas Story musical! Wonderfully helpful staff and volunteers. A Texas treasure
Had a great time seeing the preshow to Addams Family this last October. Looking to return for more fun.
Been coming to this amazing neighborhood theater for years and even had our oldest join the educational program. The teachers are wonderful and the shows are great.
Great place to see a play or musical, very comfortable atmosphere, talented actors, too my seats and very friendly staff. Will come back here often to watch other performances.
I had a great time. . Loved Mother Superior
(Cathie Sheridan) ..
Great community theatre! Also has an amazing education program. Plays to it's strengths and knows what is community wants!
A historic theatre to watch a decent show. A bit overpriced but generally great productions.
Well run community theater. Typically great musical selections and well rounded casts.
Delightful little theatre and the musical was so enjoyable. Do take it in if you can
Lovely old theater that has been lovingly restored.
Musicals! Musicals! Musicals! A full season of musicals in a beautiful, old theater near the charming Georgetown square. Lots of love and talent goes into the creation of each show. Very enjoyable evening out!
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the musical Rock of Ages. The production was done amazingly well. We'd highly recommend seeing any of their productions. Thank you for an excellent evening.
Such an amazing little theatre! Talented actors and great shows. Love to take my kids to the young audience performances.
My Family and I have made a tradition of going to a play here during December every year for several years now. We have enjoyed this place tremendously. The actors and actresses work hard to perform in these plays and we are always excited to see what they do the following years. We will continue to go there for years to come. Love it!
Excellent production of musical. Great music and dancing. Friendly usher staff. Easy access. Close to Austin.
Finally it happened . . . since moving to Georgetown and seeing nearly all of the shows, plays, musicals, etc. offered by the Palace Theatre, we finally saw a bad one: "Dearly Beloved". In a word, it was just POOR!
Cozy venue for local theater productions. Excellent layout with good visibility from every section.
Great performances by local talent. Smaller venue across the street. Have enjoyed every one of their shows.
It's a small, intimate performance space... Every seat had an excellent view of the stage. You have a very good view, no matter where your seat is !
My husband and I along with our three sons went to a musical at the Palace for the first time. We saw A Christmas Carol and were very impressed. We plan to return very soon. My kids thoroughly enjoyed it.
Great entertainment...but I may, as Dolly Levy says, be partial.
My daughter and I saw A Christmas Story. We loved it and will definitely return.
The Palace is fan-freaking-tastic! Every show they put on is top notch quality. They may technically be a community theatre, but their production quality is five star. One of my favorite places to be!
Always something fun to see here! Great place for all!
First time ever been to a musical play the characters were awesome the music was great.
Mary Poppins was fun. It was a good time reminiscing.
We saw Forever Plaid. Great tunes. It was very good for a little local theater with local actors. Had some good humor along with the music. I rated it 4 because one of the singers couldn't quite hit his notes. Very enjoyable evening! We will go again. Georgetown is blessed to have this theater.
Two theatre spaces offering a wide range of live theatre
Saw A Christmas Carol put on by the community theater group. The musical was outstanding. Cast was professional and well rehearsed. The staging was very well done. I highly recommend seeing this if there are seats available. I look forward to other performances.
Great shows and a nice atmosphere as you watch the show.
I took my daughtrt-in-law and we met a group of ladies to see Evita. It was wonderful! The acting and singing were ex exceptional. I am very impressed with the talent I have seen displayed while attending events in this beautifully restored ve ue. Many are sold out.
Attended a few shows here and love this venue. I particularly like the balcony and the size of the theater. The quality of the performances have always been top notch. I look forward to enjoying more shows here.
Always filled with educational programs and lots of energy. My daughter loves the place
some friends and I performed here as part of a talent show. The Theatre is old but charming. The seating is adequate for a fairly decent size group. We had a lovely time and the rental was reasonable.
Lovely old theatre. Just saw the 3 Tenors tonight. Good sound. Every seat has a good view
Walked in to just check it out for future shows and since two seats were still open we decided to take them and check the theater out and we for sure are coming back. The show we just seen was a Christmas Story and it had a mixed group of People in it (it looked like the youngest where 5 year old and the oldest in there 70, NOT that that is bad THAY WHERE ALL GREAT!!!)
Great night of entertainment. Very impressed with the talent level of the performers. Saw the Buddy Holly story. Excellent show.
Fantastic theater with great performances. Not a bad seat in the house. Great education offerings. Highly recommended!
My grandchildren were involved in their school's production of Annie and it was performed at The Palace! We loved the atmosphere and the quaintness and intimacy of the theater. The folks were so kind and accommodating! Without a doubt, the theater helped make this production better and the sold out crowd loved it! A huge thank you to everyone at the theater!
Fantastic show!! Peter Pan
Not Sure which was more fun--watching the show or watching my 6 year old spellbound by the magic!!
Revitalized 20 years ago, it always seems to have a full house.
This is my favorite entertainment place in Georgetown. This past year especially! My favorite is Young Frankinstein. I laughed so much!
Always blown away by the level of talent and performance at this local theater.
Beautiful small town theater with friendly and helpful volunteers. Always a pleasure.
Quaint little theater. Local performance. Great atmosphere.
Great place to visit and catch a show with family friend or by yourself. The stage is wonderful and the acoustics are amazing.
They produce wonderful shows that everyone can enjoy
The productions are always so enjoyable. Just the right mix of talent and quality and price.
Just saw my third fantastic show at the Palace last night! Highly highly recommend, the quality of the shows is fantastic, great evening, great fun and the Georgetown Square setting is a bonus! The amount of work and talent in these shows is really quite astonishing and has been far, far exceeding my expectations!
Super cute little theatre.. I was just out front but can't wait to go back and visit with my kids
Shows are of mixed quality, some fantastic, some are actually just bad with off-key singing and acting. For $30+ a ticket, not really worth it.
This is our second show and as before we weren't disappointed! The cast for newsies was great!
The most magical experience ever! The host and hostesses cater to you as soon as you walk in the door....the cast could have been right off Broadway...singing, dancing, the use of props, their acting genius and the set coordination and design are unmatched! The whole experience was captivating leaving you breathless to want more. I was moved and inspired by the brilliance of the performance. Mary Poppins flying through the air, the chimney sweep walking on the ceiling from a cast of at least 30 dressed for the times in colorful fashion one musical number after the next, with amazing singing ability! The mean nanny scaring the audience, to the statues coming to life...mouths were hanging at the chimney sweep musical number! Well thought out, stupendous all around! Bravo! Can't wait to see the next one! Your biggest fan....
The neatest little theatre I've had the pleasure of visiting. Great intimate setting.
I love this then venue. We attend a play at least once a year. Convenient and absolutely beautiful at Christmas time.
Great theatre in the Georgetown square with award winning performances and educational programs.
I enjoy this place very much. My wife has been in a couple shows and everyone is very friendly.
Great shows for a community theatre. Lots of musicals each season
White Christmas was one of the best shows we've seen there, and we have gone to many over the years!
Georgetown Palace Theater in Georgetown, TX is the place to go for entertainment. The Palace has such historical significance and beauty that your theater going experience starts the moment you walk up the to the entrance doors! The plays there have always been fabulous and well-performed, usually by local actors. I have taken many guests there and they have always left feeling like they were extra, extra special.
We saw A Christmas Story musical. Top notch entertainment, the actors and songs were excellent and downtown Georgetown is decorated beautifully
