Had a waiting appointment at 11:15am. Brought our Ram Promaster 3500 camper for missing door weather seal, see attached picture. I understand that its been modified by its coach manufacturer. But the door nor the door seal is surely not touched by the coach manufacturer. I was under the impression that the service person, Baker could just look at it and let me know if it s waranty covered, which it should be because its a chassis missing part. I dont see the the coach manufacturer removing that seal as theres nothing in the door they need to work on. I would think they just tell me if they have the part on the shelf or not and make me come back for the install. After 3 hours, Baker came back to me to tell me that The missing Ram/Mopar weather seal is not their responsibility to replace. It doesnt make sense to me as it is a chassis part not a coach part. Whats really upsetting though is I had a waiting appointment. They could have look at that missing part, which I pointed to Baker before I handed him the key, and make a decision right then. To make us wait for THREE hours is just unsatisfactory.
