Great British experience in St James but its a lit...

Great British experience in St James but its a little tarnished now - what was silver service is now stainless steel.

Lots of small sloppy mistakes from the kitchen & the floor: smudged flatware from the kitchen, cracked glassware, droppages, breakages, slow service.

The classic dishes are perfect, sides & salads could be perceived bad value for money. Its odd seeing people order burgers here, there are better choices like Smoked Haddock Monte Carlo, Weiner Schnitzels Holstein & Kedegree.

One small annoyance was that there are no english wines represented on the menu even as a special instead of Puligny-Montrachet.

All in all its still a treat if some what past it.
