Alexander in the Sun was the perfect spot for our family weekend getaway to Palm Springs. Situated in a quiet neighborhood, the house was well-maintained and scrupulously clean. The owner and property management company have provided so many thoughtful touches, from makeup removal wipes in the bathroom to a more-than-fully-stocked array of pans and cooking tools in the kitchen.

We've rented a number of houses over the years, and this one is by far the best at providing hotel service with the convenience of a house. There were a couple of very minor glitches during our stay, and the management company was instantly responsive. They even sent someone out to the house on our last day to roll the garbage cans to the curb (not that we heard them--they were as quiet as could be) so we didn't have to do ANYTHING. Everyone we interacted with was pleasant, professional, and eager to accommodate any concerns.

Another nice feature of this house is that while there is a master suite with attached bathroom, all three bedrooms are really equally comfortable and desirable, which would a plus when traveling with other adult couples.

Last plus--while this home is one of the classic Mid-Century Modern Alexander designs, we really appreciated that the house, while furnished in keeping with the MCM theme, had comfortable furniture (and SO comfortable beds). We've rented others in the area with nothing but the super-hip-but-uncomfortable variety of furniture. This house's interior, while sophisticated, provided just-right comfort for lounging.

Beautiful backyard with a very special pool and in-ground hot tub; private and secluded but with a stunning view of the mountains (and check out the view-providing mirror in the master bath); we would most definitely rent this property again.
