We bought our house 3 weeks ago. At first we were so excited! The house is beautiful, the buying process was simple, and the staff were nice. I even left a comment on Facebook saying how I loved the company. That all changed quickly . First issue was being told we would get rain gutters and then not getting them! When it s raining we can t even walk out our front door! We decided to change our contract from the blue bird neighborhood to the Burlison area where the house had rain gutters and everything we asked then we were told they had houses in Midlothian so we took a look and loved the area and discussed with anteres and they agreed that we would get the same STUFF or deal as the Burlison house was offering for the one we are at now and the price for the same house was $40,000 more. We made the move bc we liked the area better and you would think for paying $40,000 more they would be able to afford rain gutters or already have them on the house like they told us they were included! Very unprofessional of a company to go back on their word. Remember we moved in 3 WEEKS AGO? The next issue is our ceiling caved in due to water damage in the roof. We had a bucket of water and a ton of personal items ruined. We made a request and they came out the next day which I appreciated! When they got here I addressed my concerns and told them there was black mold growing due to the leak and it needed taken care of properly. He told me it s not mold its from the wood being left outside during the building process. NOT TRUE! It wasn t there when we did our walk through and if it s not mold why isn t it on all the wood? It s isolated to just the wood damaged by the water damage. Mold is dangerous and it s about 25 feet away from our heating & cooling system. There is also a leak in another room and I m not sure if that will be addressed or not bc nothing was done about it yesterday when they were here. We now have a huge hole in our roof and mold growing on our beams. The mold should have been addressed yesterday and not left to continue to grow. This problem never should have happened and It s ridiculous we are having to deal with it so soon after moving in, so soon in fact we haven t even finished moving in! Hopefully Antares does the right thing and actually follows through with their word and takes my concerns seriously. If you go through with Antares...good luck.
Sincerely CHRISTOPHER SPAINHOWARD
