It was a bit disappointing because we really looked forward to this stay for weeks. First, the room we requested was not given to us as we were advised it would still take 2 more hours before it could be ready. 2nd, we were booked under the event by Miriam College and we really felt that the breakfast was incomparable versus our previous stays. We were not allowed to have breakfast at the Circles even if the concierge during the check in told us that as long as there are still seats, we can be accommodated. We woke up early only to advised that we can only have breakfast on the designated area. This was really the deal breaker. :( We love Shangrila and we always look forward to staying in any of its hotels. This branch, however, we realized, needs renovating already as the place seemed old. I honestly didn't feel the premium service that Shangrila is known for. I really hope the company would do something about this.
