Always a good experience and always amazing food. ...

Always a good experience and always amazing food. I ate the wagyu burger and it was delicious. The flavor pallette was as wide as an airplane hanger.

When I was 18 and graduated high school I splurged and took myself out to the Met to celebrate. At that time it was an astronomical price for me to play for a meal, but that's not my point (it was worth it). I distinctly remember my waiter that day. He explained to my steak-illigetimate 18 year old self that the porterhouse is the Cadillac of steaks. "Low and wide."

Fast forward 15 years. I pop in for lunch and that man is still an amazing waiter. He has no idea who I am, but I remember his excellent service. I remember the way he made our table feel during a spectacular night in my life. It seems important that he still provides that. I feel it says something about the Met as a whole that it fosters a place where a man like that would choose to stay bringing style to my dining experience.

Stay classy gentleman waiter, and thank you for keeping Seattle special the Met.
