Lets talk about the positive aspects of the campground first.

Very nice staff! Polite. Efficient. Respectful. Couldnt ask for a better staff. In terms of staff, 5 stars.

Site 47, fantastic site! We had A LOT of room on our site! Lots of shade & privacy. For our site specifically, i give it 4 stars. The only reason its not 5 stars is bc i paid a creekside rate but technically not creekside. Slightly misleading altho to give credit, i dont think that was intentional. And in all fairness, the creek was no more than a 1-2 min walk away. Had a tree line between us and the creek. At the end of the day, great experience for our site.

Now the bummer part...criticism.

We got so lucky w/ our site. Others, not so much. Our neighbors on site 46 had NO ROOM for anything besides their camper. My wife and i felt so guilty for all of our space we actually invited site 46 campers to share our space. When they had there awning out and pop-out there was less than a foot on either side of room. Their awning was nearly touching our camper and their pop-out was less than a foot away from the utility pole. Sadly, this was not the only side like that. If you walked down the creekside drive, it was campsite after campsite exactly like that. Vehicles were parked all over the place excpet their sites. It terms of overall campsite rating, i give a 2 at best.

I want to give the staff a pat on the back bc the ratio of campers to bathroom/showers facilities, im sorry, facility (not plural) was stupid off balance. The restrooms were squeaky clean the entire time. 5 stars to staff on restroom cleaning! But three showers, two stalls and one urinal for an entire campground is ridiculous. I give it a 2 star rating. Its not a 1 star because it was cleaning. Gotta give credit there.

Overall experience...fair. This isn t exactly the campgrounds fault, but there were several people camping who didn t understand common camping etiquette. For example site 45 had a full blown college-like party w about 15 people and were yelling, screaming, cheering, cussing, drinking hard until I finally had enough shortly after 1am and addressed it. As i walked to to restroom what seemed like forever away i got hear my neighbors were the only rowdy campers. I just couldn t believe it. Not basing rating off of our noisy neighbors.

We ll likely be back but we are gonna aim for site 47 or a couple others in the future and go when its maybe less busy...but if i can go somewhere else I probably will. We had fun, but not the weekend we were hoping for.
