I have been a member of Pax Christi for about 18 years and have found it to be a very welcoming place. Great messages and always relevant to our time and place in the world. The building is large but has smaller spaces including a chapel and gallery for quiet contemplation. The nature trail is well maintained and goes around a large pond behind the church. There are also gardens and a shrine area outside which are beautiful. I also enjoy the labyrinth; every church should have one.
The only downside in my opinion is that this is a large community with a couple thousand members. Getting to know people or even seeing the same people a few weeks in a row is sometimes difficult so it is best to find a group to get involved in. They have lots of groups and volunteer opportunities.
