The grounds & pool area pleasant, staff friendly but service slow. Felt the hotel was overpriced & bedroom & bathroom did not meet our expectations. Room was clean. But, we woke up first morning to find a fungus/ mushroom growing out of the carpet! The shower/bath door inefficient- we had a large puddle of water on the floor after each use. We sent my wife's meal back (scallops) during our first dining experience at Salt - it was cold when it should have been served hot. Second dining experience at Salt, we both ordered same meal (Butter Chicken), there was a huge difference in serving size, which we commented to the waiter. We felt compelled to eat/ drink at the Sofitel because we had purchased a food& beverage package - wish we had not! There was no information in the room about services etc we requested a compendium, but it still lacked any information about Denarau and other attractions.
