Heide Schroeder Review of KrugerPark.com
Our first visit and just gigantic.
Our first visit and just gigantic.
One surprise after another. At the turn of the year 2017/2018 we were of course on a South Africa tour in the Kruger. 4 days full of experiences.
The park is easy to drive. With a map of the park, which also contains a lot of information, you can get through easily. We were traveling with a normal car, which brought us well over the gravel roads. If you have enough time you shouldn't miss the many loops. The entrance fee for the park is around 25 per person per day. (Course 1.1.18)
From the entrance through the Kruger Gate to the journey to the Olifant Rest Camp and Lower Sabie Camp, we have already seen the so-called Big Five. These encounters were enhanced by a variety of additional animal species, including many birds.
We would visit the Kruger Park again at any time.
We learned that the state camps are better than their reputation.
In December / January the animals are out and about with their offspring.
We have only made malaria prophylaxis in the form that we have already impregnated a set of clothes (shirt, pants, stockings, cap) with No Bite at home. Smells a bit unpleasant, but packed in a sealable plastic bag, the rest of the case is spared.
Wearing the clothes is comfortable and does not give off unpleasant odors.
In Pretoria we covered ourselves with "Peacefull Sleep" spray (for space and mosquito nets) and cream in the pharmacy. The best experience.
