My son's quantum ilevel wheelchair is 4 years old and has been nothing but trouble....3 motors replaced...2 control arms and now we have to drive 1.5 to repair center to have the ilevel repaired....we went 2 weeks ago and heard the repair tech on the phone with pride and he was explaining what the chair was doing and not doing and they said it was the actuator....so back 1.5 drive...wait for insurance ok and return trip 1.5 hours today to get told by a very frustrated repair tech that Pride told them wrong part for repair...chair needs new ilevel frame....so now 1.5 hour drive back to wait for insurance ok and part order and then when part arrives another trip 1.5 hours again for chair to be repaired. Now mind you Pride is only 20 minutes from our home and when our son first got his chair he tested for his Black Belt in karate and the manager at Pride and another employee ask if they could come do a promotional video of our son using his ilevel for karate and promised him the world in return...whatever he needed or wanted for his chair...after the second motor the manager sends me a not very nice email that they can't do anymore for him....USE OUR SON FOR YOUR BUSINESS AND THEN DROP YOUR PROMISE OF ANYTHING HE EVER NEEDED. THE CHAIR IS NOT A RELIABLE PIECE IF EQUIPMENT AT ALL...WHAT KIND OF BUSINESS IS THAT....NOT ONE I WOULD EVER WANT TO DEAL WITH AGAIN.
