Maybe I misunderstood the purpose of a coop. I was expecting mostly local produce but from what I see the vast majority of both the fresh food outside and the stuff on the shelves inside came from outside Ireland. Even things like carrots, which grow plentiful in Ireland, came from somewhere else in Europe. Given the high prices I d rather spend my money supporting local producers.
