We live on the west side of Den Helder against the dune area where the wind from the west has free play, which gives a high wind load on our front door.
To keep the wind out we had put toggles on the door to keep out the howling wind and we had to go in and out the back of the house. That was difficult when someone rang the bell. Then made a porch that worked better but in wind and rain everything got wet behind the door because the toggles from the outside did not work.
After a long search, we came to Schippers who solved our problem by installing a new door with a 5-point closure with a double rubber seal and that feels like opening a walk-in refrigerator door.
We are very well served and happy with the result.
We have had rain and storm, but no dripping inside, even with the door of the lock, the door is locked at 3 points so that the door will not budge in strong gusts of wind.
