My laboratory has used their system for over 2 years now and have been very happy with the technical service. We spent over $30K last year on their assay plates. Recently, the hard drive failed on the computer. The system is not under warranty, but instead of offering to replace the hard drive, I was provided with 3 options. An old Win7 computer for $3,300 dollars and self install the software we already purchased, a new Windows 10 computer for $7,500 + a $2,500 pre-inspection fee or a new Windows 10 computer for $7,500 + a $4,900 service contract. I contacted the company and explained the situation and tried to get an understanding of why they were charging so much for this when I had already purchased the software, the system and continually purchase a large amount of assay plates. Today, I was told that management would not do anything to help us out with this situation. Because of this I will be switching platforms and taking my business elsewhere. Buyer beware.
