A few friends and i came here at around 1pm on a Sunday afternoon. There were many tables open and we were seated within moments of entering the cafe at a half booth. The table was very wobbly, so we had to stabilize it with napkins under the legs.

The menu was decent with many options for special diets. Our waitress was cordial and took our orders quickly. I ordered a side of fries to be brought out as soon as they were done (to be an appetizer as i was pretty hungry), my friend ordered a salad, and my other friend ordered a burger (which apparently they can only cook well-done?) It took about 35 minutes for just the fries to come out.

After about 45 minutes our meals had still not arrived and our waitress had not visited our table. We called her over and asked how much longer it would be. She replied that the wait was due to one of our burgers taking a while on the grill and apologized, walking away. We were a bit taken aback as she made it seem like it was our problem the wait was so long because of what we had ordered. Plus she did nothing to make up for it.

There were staff standing around behind the counter, and we overheard a waiter complaining to another party that they were slammed busy - the restaurant was half-empty...

After almost an hour, our food finally arrived and it wasn t anything special. My rice was not fully cooked all the way (45 minutes to make rice and it s undercooked??) and my burrito bowl was served on a plate, making it a little hard to eat. I think my friends were satisfied with their meal though.

Our waitress remained unbothered by the fact that we waited an hour for our food so it was reflected in her tip.

Word to management: train your wait staff how to treat their tables when the kitchen is behind, and train the kitchen staff how to cook rice better. Also get tables that don t wobble.
