I bought a home july 11th of 2017 from this company. Terrible experience from the start. There was no level of communication whatsoever from the start. It came across as Cody Parker the owner didn't want his identity known as he never showed his face. We had to deal with his awful realtor Karen Lance. He sent his realtor to do all of the walk thrus with us. Had to deal with her unprofessional attitude. A real builder shows up and goes over things and explains things. He never once made it a point to introduce himself to me. He gives a 1 Year builder warranty on the home. But, here it is September 6th, and there are still items on the punch list that were agreed upon at closing that are not done. That's a bad indicator. If something big were to happen is he really going to take care of it. I seriously doubt it ! His word doesn't mean much of anything as he seems to have an excuse of why something can't get done yet. Waiting on trim carpenter, Windows are on back order. Just excuses and nothing getting done.
To sum it all up Elite Response are not home Builders. They built a couple of homes that do look nice. The lot was graded poorly and has drainage issues in the back and the right side of the property is eroding. I have had to dig up the yard and install catch basins and pipe to divert water from the back yard. There were 12 iron rails on the stairs that had sharp edges. One cut my 2 year old child's hand as she uses the rails being a small child. Cody sends someone over to file them down and color the filed area in with a black sharpie. Really? But there are things that need to be done per agreement. There are things that as a new owner of a new home I shouldn't be having to do. They have not upheld they're end. Cody needs to do the right thing and take care of those things in the agreement. Just FYI, I will do a positive follow up review once the items are taken care of.
