Still hadn't fixed the 'renovation' issues from the year before. Stayed there so son could see friends for his birthday, just like the year before. Still had windows screwed shut and yellow tape cordoning off same areas. Restaurant closes arbitrarily or doesn't even answer room service phone, then out of items you try to order. The company that controls this hasn't even started renovations on their San Simeon property after promoting them 3 years ago as 'big renovation IN PROGRESS'.
