Went to the emergency at Tennova in Clarksville on Thursday the 23rd of Feb 2017 after getting up and feeling crampy. I was 14 weeks pregnant and very excited for my first pregnancy. Well, long story short was told after an ultrasound that I had a "miscarriage." I was also told by the ER md to immediately contact my OBGYN which I did. I was scheduled for surgery on Friday the 24th.) Unfortunately, on Friday the 24th I went back to the ER around past 8am because I was bleeding and could not bear the excruciating pain around my abdomen. My OB had asked me to. I could barely walk and was given a wheelchair. I was triaged within 15-20 minutes even when I told them I was having a miscarriage. No one cared! I sat there crying and almost rolling on the floor with continuos bleeding and the nurses kept telling me(each time I tried talking to one begging atleast for a bed to lay down) "you will be called when it's your turn." Needless to say, I waited for 3 hours and around past 11 was called in for a bed. Shortly before that my water broke and my fetus gushed out. Any woman can imagine how that must have felt! I was devastated with both the physical , emotional and psychological trauma and asked God to just take me home, for the pain only got worst. All of that time, no one came to me, no one checked on me, no nurse offered me even a pad or even asked me anything. I was ignored completely. The nurse that triaged me was called BEN (cannot recall the last name for I was in too much pain). I humbly called for him with my right hand and he disappeared and never came back. Sitting on that chair for hours on end, bleeding non stop, heavy clots falling off with a soaked panty and dress and throwing up almost every 15 minutes and no one cared. After the triage I was left there to die. Thank God I did not. Finally after 3 hours I was placed in a bed. My hour for surgery was at noon and it was past 11 but the nurses insisted that my husband not take me to surgery as my OB had asked for they will . How I wish I could walk and even talk, I could have been out of there in a second. Again, I was in that bed for another hour before I was administered morphine through an iv which did not help, then taken to the OR. Just horrible place!!!!! I will never recommend this place to anyone especially to pregnant women. The ER staff are children of Lucifer and are all paving their smooth way to hell. I have never seen any place treat people like this. My horror should never be repeated on anyone, regardless. Period. Days later I called to complain and was transferred four times before I could even get to the right person and I doubt if anything was done. The lady incharge ( P. Stewart) told me she was gonna "follow up." PLEASE, STAY AWAY FROM TENNOVA ER !They are inhumane.
