HANDS DOWN BEST AUDIO SHOP AROUND!!!
After deciding to have my 15 Escalade upgraded I had to decide who I trusted with my baby (which is worth more than some houses). I live in the MN metro so Sweet Sounds was NOT an easy choice logistically, but, after weighing my options, I decided to go with a company that I ve literally done business with since I got my drivers license back in 1995 (I grew up in Mankato).
I wanted to take my SUV to a company that had the expertise to disassemble a vehicle this complex, knowing the risk involved if any parts were damaged/broken during the process. That s why a second rate, uninsured shop wasn t an option. I wanted the best, period!
I started talking to Jeff, the owner of Sweet Sounds around the end of November about what I wanted. He gave it personal attention from start to finish. He gave good, better, best options as far as product choices, and install options. I told him how other than the sub/amp cabinet in the back, I didn t want it to look any different than a stock Caddy. I wanted the subs and amps to seamlessly integrate with the stock materials in the vehicle.
After I put Jeff through ringer for a little over 2 months with questions that came up on my end about different products, install options, and changing my mind on budget and product, the install was ready to begin!
The job was finished and when I got to Sweet Sounds to pick my vehicle up, I was so unbelievably blown away when Jeff showed me what him and his team had done!! I knew this job was a tall order and I thought I might have to compromise perfection in certain areas because of how complex the new Caddy s are and all the materials and different bends and angles that would need to be tied into. NOT THE CASE!!! It was PERFECT all around! And I m as picky as they come!!! There s way too much done to my car to explain but I highly recommend anyone thinking about hiring this company, check out Jeff s highlights from the build once they re ready. They won t disappoint!
The day I picked up my Escalade Jeff spent close to 2 hours showing me what they did, why they did it, how they did it, and how I use it correctly. It is crazy the amount of equipment in this vehicle and if you hadn t sat through Jeff s presentation of the finished product, you d think it was stock! Best part, you d think that it was stock not only based on how it looks, but because NONE of my factory features were compromised. It all works EXACTLY how it did before the install began (with the exception of it sounding like a competition quality audio system now).
I m a person that expects perfection when I pay for something...that said, I rarely write reviews. You really need to blow me away for me to really appreciate what you did for me. These guys did that throughout the whole project, multiple times!
Based on what I saw them do to my Escalade, and other projects I ve seen of theirs, I honestly don t think there s anything these guys can t do when it comes to mobile audio. And if you re like me, and won t accept anything less than perfection, don t waste your time interviewing other companies....just call Sweet Sounds!
