The entrance really shocked me as I wasn't expecting much but instead I was greeted by a rather modern looking interior that explained the Abbeys history and cultural significance. The Abbey grounds are beautiful and all the different shops and cafes provide for a surprisingly entertaining and informative day out. We went for the beverage but left with knowledge.... and the beverage.
