I'm surprised I'm only giving this 3 stars. First off, service was exceptional and my hats off to the staff. It was mainly the issue of the amount of issues with an aging hotel.

On our first stay, much construction and repairs were going on, which required us to repack and move rooms throughout our stay (mind you, we were compensated with access to the lounge which was appreciated). This was a bit of a hassle and ended up with a smaller, cramped room.

We went back for a second visit (mainly because the of the excellent service from the staff). We were put on the top floor, but with the age of the building, the ceiling had a leak with flooded the hallway carpet. While staff quickly put up cones to prevent others from soaking their shoes (like we did), again, maintenance and cleanup was occuring. The noise and musky smell wasn't ideal.

Great service, but aging hotel is what's setting it back.
