NEVER take your kids to any of the HCMC locations for care. They have shown complete lack of competence and total disregard for all 3 of our children. On multiple occasions they have attempted to physically restrain our children for multiple reasons. They failed to administer a vaccine for our youngest which left a scar on her leg. They attempted to physically restrain our middle child in order to administer eye drops; despite the protest from both child and parent. Recently, our oldest went in for a COVID test which was required for an upcoming orthodontic appointment. Oldest child has diagnosis of generalized anxiety and is in the final steps of being evaluated for ASD. Getting swabbed creates a great deal of stress and anxiety, and last time the child was allowed to swab their own nose which helped a lot. This was explained to the hospital staff and the staff acknowledged the request. However, instead they brought the child back to a separate room, had them lay down on a table, and used multiple staff to restrain her and administer the test. All the while child's mother was asking them to stop so that they could explain to the child what was happening. This was completely ignored and they continued to hold her down while the child screamed for them to stop. There was NEVER consent given by a parent for the use of restraint on the child. DO NOT EVER BRING YOUR KIDS TO HCMC.
