Had lunch with a friend at the Manhattan deli. The staff and service were excellent, however the food was disappointing. I'm a fan of pastrami and I've had some great sandwiches here. This time however, was not the experience I had hoped for. While the portions were similar to past experiences the sandwich was greasy and the pastrami had been cooked beyond recognition on the grill. The meat had been severely charred. In all probability I will not return.
