I lost my warranty forever because I was told by the warranty forever customer service to follow my cars manufacturer schedule after I told them that the cars computer tells us when its due depending on the oil life. There is no set interval in the manual. Turns out that the service interval recommended by the cars smart computer which monitors oil life is invalid. The oil life monitor just notified us to change the oil but its not within the 10,000 mile interval Warranty Forever states in the manual. We took the car to the dealer because it broke down on us in August. Called Warranty Forever. The oil didn't get changed though it was close to 10,000 because I was to follow the Manufacturers recommendation. Warranty Forever ended up not managing the repair because it was handled under a recall. I called them today to schedule an oil change but was notified that I no longer had a warranty. Its a bummer that we were steered the wrong direction and now we dont have a warranty.
