I first met Dr. Manuel Bautista about 9 months ago when I was trying to find another dentist to fix one of my so many major dental issues. I was really disappointed in my previous dentists because I felt judged and not listened to; they would literally start working on my teeth without even consulting with me or asking what my finances were. In the end I would wake up with my insurance funds cleared and whatever tooth I didn t know I had an issue with resolved instead of the ones that really made my life miserable. I started to feel depressed, to lack confidence in my abilities and my looks. I knew I was able to achieve no matter what in life if only I could have the smile I always wanted.

I was lucky and blessed enough to find Dr Manuel Bautista. I knew he had the best reviews in town but I was scared that meant expensive. Recently engaged and planning a wedding, while struggling to build a business of my own (which meant limited funds again for major dental work), I stepped into Dr Manuel Bautista s clinic hoping I won t be judged or ripped off and praying that he would finally fix that damn front tooth before my wedding. And then it s when my story changed forever!!! Dr. Bautista did a simple thing, a basic business step no one should avoid yet all the previous dentists ignored completely, a customer service 101 in every speciality you re going for, yet most people refuse to apply: LISTENED. He listened to me, he allowed me to express myself, my fears, my financial struggles, my perception of my dental situation. He listened without judging as a true professional, he took the time to analyze my case and give me his feedback without knowing if he would even get my business. He never treated me as a number, he never tried to eat my insurance funds on the first issue he saw and let me go after. No. He listened. Analyzed. Empathized. He gained my trust by treating me as a person first and as a potential customer second. I was fortunate to be approved by DentoPlan (a solution I wasn t even offered by my previous dentists and frankly didn't believe I d be approved by) and worked together with Dr. Bautista on making the best of the funds.

During the 6 months of intensive dental work (believe me, intensive) I always felt in good hands and knew it wasn t only my goal now, but my dentist s goal as well. His team Marleny, Erica, Shonna, Vanessa always welcomed me with a smile and made sure I was feeling comfortable at all times. Now the big question Was it expensive? Depends on the price you put on your smile and the value your smile and your health brings to your life. It wasn't expensive for me. I wasn t going to afford it at that time but it wasn t expensive compared to the value it was going to bring to my life. That s why I found DentoPlan to be the best solution for me in terms of financing. Fast forward, here I am one month until my wedding sharing my perfect, healthy smile left and right.
