I attended dinner at Cafe Mix, thinking it was for the buffet but was told over the phone that it was only on Fri and sat. So I though I'd five the a la carte menu a go. I reserved for 2 people on Sunday but it was not needed. The staff are very friendly and recommended some very tasty dishes.
The food was tasty and enjoyable with an asian fusion menu. Good for sharing so you can try many things at once. (Numbin chicken wings, pork neck skewers were super tasty, fried rice was delicious).
The ambience in the restaurant was a little bit strange, perhaps it was the lighting or the arrangement of tables, or even the overuse of the erdu music, that made it feel a bit weird.
Otherwise the restaurant was pretty good and not bad for a smart casual date night.

The hotel has much grandeur from the outside but I feel once you step inside there isn't much wow too it. Possibly in need of an upgrade (new carpet, open lobby/entrance areas) nothing compares to the other more impressive Asian counterparts of the hotel chain. That's not to say it is not impressive, more to say that it could reach higher potential.
