They are supposed to protect the public from dangerous rogue dentists. Rather all too often they go after the dentist who does a honest error. Learn from the Airline industry and stop making it a blame culture and actually protect the public by supporting to good clinician. They barely protect the public from business doing teeth whitening and braces that aren't even qualified. I know this because I reported a certain walk in clinic for braces and they haven't taken any action. This was over 6 months ago.
