I think many landlords are under the impression that renting their home under section 8 is easy.. Well it's not that easy, but it's far. You can't think that the government will pay you top dollar for a property that isn't up to par. You as the landlord has a responsibility to make sure everything is fixed & working properly for the tenant. The yearly home inspections protect the landlord/tenant. If the tenant is not taking care of the property the housing agency will know & vice versa..
