Can't miss it. You might think it'd all be portraits of stuffy old white Founding Fathers, but it's way, way more than that! Has portraits of American both famous and unknown from all walks of life, with other artworks and artifacts to put them in context. Went back twice to see the whole darn thing. Plus it shares a space with the excellent Smithsonian American Art Museum.
