If I could leave a zero star review I would. This company is completely dishonest and basically tried to rob us on their service call to our house. We were referred to Lakes by Samsung to fix our tv, and contacted Lakes to set up a service visit. We were given a rough diagnosis and maximum price over the phone. When the Lakes technician showed up, he did not even turn the tv on or touch it, but called his office and they determined four or five additional parts that needed to be replaced, and quoted more than the actual price of the tv in labor alone!! We refused to even consider such an outrageous cost, and then were told we still had to pay $125 just for the technician showing up. We tried to speak with a manager in the Lakes office and were just redirected to several employees who said there was nothing they could do and that there was no way to refund our service fee. I think it s disgraceful that a company like Lakes has no integrity to call out their dishonest technicians, or offer any type of customer service in a situation like this, and I can only imagine how many other tv owners are being taken advantage of by them on their service calls.
