Great place to take kids that love animals. Took my sister's kids here and they loved it. Didn't have interactions with the staff like others have had, I think people forget this place is run by volunteers.

The day we went was a market day so a lot of the gates were locked and crowds were big. Parking was crazy so we parked a few blocks away from the Abbotsford Convent site and walked our way in. The farm isn't big which is great as tired kids are terrible, a lot easier to get around this place before crankiness sets in than the Zoo.
