If you like older hotels and want to avoid the usual chains, this is a good option if you are visiting Washington DC. On the plus side it is close to the George Washington University and the White House if you plan to meet with the president. It is not in the center of nightlife and clubs which is more of a cab ride than walk away. The hotel was clean and decently maintained. It has a very cozy lobby and an attached cafe which is quaint.
