Not sure where to start.. My wife of 28 years past away, then 3 months latter I totaled my motorcycle. From that I was diagnosed with ADD, PTSD, TBI and severe depression. I could no longer work and did not know where to turn. Someone said I should call Midwest Disability so I did. ( Best decision I ever made) I called them they were so understanding
They sent out some paperwork to fill out. I filled it out they said they could help me to make sure I understood what I was filling out. All I had to do was keep track of my doctors appointments. I had a lot of them. They had me sign a release so they could access my records which made it much easier on me. They were very upfront with me it is a long process and said it's not unusual to be turned down by SS several times. They did all of the leg work and I could call them whenever I didn't understand something. Because of my injury I called them many times. They always made me feel empowered. The nice thing is you don't have to put up money for a retainer they only get paid if you win, and that is a percentage with a maximum cap. I had no one I could turn to, but thank God for Midwest Disability they were always there for me. Things don't happen overnight with the government. They drag it out forever. I think they are hoping you give up. If I didn't have Midwest Disability I would have given up. They were always there for me encouraging me to look long term which kept my spirits up. YOU CAN NOT DO THIS ON YOUR OWN DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT IT. You need a company that specializes in this. We were turned down twice. Then we had our turn in front of a Judge he ruled 100% in my favor. I would recommend Midwest Disability to anyone who has become disabled. They would check in with me periodically to see how I was hanging in there. They always reassured me they were on top of things
At first I was scared to death knowing I would have to fight SS. But actually I didn't have to fight them I had a legal team to do it for me. When you win SS figures out you award from the first day you file. So if you have become disabled call Midwest Disability ASAP you will not be sorry. But do remember this is a slow process.
