I leased a 2017 explorer about a year and a half ago and that part went well. My girlfriend also bought a certified car a few months later. The service center has been good for oil changes. The problem comes with trying to have a tire issue fixed.
First off the Hancooks that s come on the new suvs are compleat garbage. The tread blocks started peeling up on all four tires, I took pictures, they took pictures and I guess they think thats enough. This was three months ago and after multiple emails, phone calls and two more oil changes I ve received exactly one phone call about this last week, and it was a repeat of the first visit about the tires. Yes that s 3 months with no response to any phone calls or emails! Bring it in and we will send info to the tire manufacturer bla bla bla, I said I ve already done this with you (tire manager) and I work in EMS and dont time to drive over there again to wait 3 more months. I was told the first time it was a known problem by you and you would contact the tire manufacturer to have it fixed. Now I m at 20k miles and seem to be back at square one, no calls, no emails, only spam about doing a review of my explorer Well here ya go! Guess where I won t be leasing or buying my next vehicle!

UPDATE
After this review I was contacted by Captial Ford and they have since replaced the tires and got me in quick. I appreciate them taking care of the defect and standing behind the vehicle.
