I went to Riva for NYE 2019 the event was pretty great, the venue is great.
I purchased a VIP ticket to have quicker access to the bar and toilets, this was not the case it was actually quicker to leave the VIP area and use the main toilets and bars.
Also the atmosphere in the main area ended up being so much better too, wishing I didn t pay that extra $100 for no real reason.
As it was New Years Eve I also would have expected a little more hype around the count down into the new year.
