While camping in Tampa and awaiting the birth of m...

While camping in Tampa and awaiting the birth of my grandson the serpentine belt on my RAM2500 broke due to a faulty water pump under recall. This was on a Thursday night and we were due to check out of the campground on Saturday morning and needed the truck to haul our fifth wheel camper home. As the belt broke in the parking lot of the hospital in Lakeland I called the dealership there only to be told they couldn t even look at the truck until the following week!! I called Courtesy and spoke with Cindy who scheduled an appointment for Friday morning. I replaced the split belt in the parking lot at the hospital which got us back to the campground, and then to Courtesy s dealership the next morning. When I dropped the truck off with Savannah she told me they would pay for a rental from Enterprise while they repaired my truck!! Courtesy repaired not only the water pump but also two other recalls and my truck was ready by 5:00 pm. I picked the truck up and noticed an Electronic Braking System warning after I had left the dealership so I called them and spoke with their service manager Richard who told me to bring it back at 8:00 am on a very busy, overbooked Saturday morning. The technician had forgotten to recalibrate the EBS, so they did this and I was out the door with my truck in under an hour!! Kudos to Cindy for making room for me on a busy Friday, Savannah for making sure my repairs were completed on the same day, and Richard making sure an oversight was corrected on a VERY busy Saturday morning!!
