Tim Ryall Review of West Midland Safari and Leisur...
Hmmmmm.......
Hmmmmm.......
A mixed review. I'll start with the Negative points - as the first one its by far the most significant.
NEGATIVE :
The theme park rides ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THE ENTRANCE PRICE.
We used Tesco vouchers. On this day there was a problem with the barcodes from the vouchers/tickets issued during the previous day. Reception was full of people with the same problem. Took a while......
The traffic 'round the Safari drive through part was diabolical. To be fair, it was August - peak period - but Longleat - 2 months earlier managed this much, much better.......
No monkeys. Why? - I don't know - but that is by far the most fun part (in Longleat)
POSITIVE :
No additional 'parking cost' that is the case in Alton Towers, Thorpe Park, I think Chessington.... - so that's good.
The sea lion show was good (if a little 'wordy'). Elephants were fabulous - much better than Longleat in this case.
It is a nice park and a decent family day out - but there are better ones to be had.
: )
