We would not choose this insurer if we had the chioce not to. But unfortunately, the NSW government decided that it would be a good idea to manage all the workers' problems in a single, state owned insurer. As result, we are forcefully stuck with this company despite the unsatisfactory customer service we were receiving lately. The case manager, Icare & disputes teams (13 99 22) have been unhelpful to us in updating & processing our Electronics Funds Transfer for over 3 weeks now since the check mails weren't being delivered to our address since our injury claim which was more than 7 weeks ago despite the fact we had provided them the correct address to Icare.

I would highly doubt that this review would affect your decision in choosing this company since Icare is the only worker insurance company in NSW you can choose from.
