You have to pay extra for every single thing including having the trunk button work on the keypad. You seriously have to pay extra to have all of the functions to work that the remote comes with. But then exactly 12 months 1 week after I had my remote start installed, my main keypad quit working and my check engine light came on at the exact same time. (Battery is not dead it s recharhable) so I started using the modest second one it came with. It has been five months and now that one only works a quarter of the time it is not dead because the lights still light up.
