Unfortunately, the bistro Merlijn is going backwards. We have certainly eaten there between 10 and 20 times. But the last time was really not good. Waited very long on the first lap (at least half an hour) after waiting for another 20 minutes. Staff kicks on the floor fallen spoon just in a corner. Food was also less, meat was dry and desserts not great. While this has always been top-notch. Getting a good name is an art but keeping that good name is very important and perhaps the most difficult. That is why Merlijn will also have to keep things tight in good times. Because of 15 good experiences and 1 bad, the step to go back is still smaller. And then you lose loyal customers.
